About The Position
Maintain/Monitor daily Warehouse activities to include;
- Maintaining Accurate Inventories of Finished Good, Raw Materials and Miscellaneous items
- Maintaining Forklift Program
- Daily Safety Inspections
- PM / Maintenance
- Cleaning Standards / Schedule
- Maintain and Deliver Forklift Training Program
- Classroom Training
- Driver Training
- Record Keeping
- Shipping / Receiving
- Ensure Outgoing Shipments are scheduled and OTIF
- Receiving
- Ensure Full Receipt of BOL Items
- Inspect All Incoming Goods for Proper Handling and Care Before Signing
- Receiving, maintaining and organizing all apples
- Cleaning Standards
- Establish & Maintain Warehouse / Cooler Cleaning Schedule
- Coordinate Tasks Assignment Utilizing Press Room Staff
- Shuttle Service
- Ensure OTIF Delivery of Goods to/from Pine Street Location
- Delivery of Good to Farrell & other associated vendors
- Communication
- Communicate with Packaging, Cellar and Business office
- Coordination
- Coordinate and delate tasks for press house i.e. cleaning schedule
- Delegate work to Production Worker supporting warehouse and distribution
Safety:
- Advocate for safety
- Support and implement Safety initiatives
- Own Shuttle Truck Safety Program
- Driver Training
- Safety Inspections
- PM Program

- Communication Skills – Warehouse leads provide clear verbal or written instructions so that the expectations of employee roles are understood
- Numerical Abilities – An understanding of databases, and spreadsheets is important to this role, so warehouse leads have strong numeracy skills to carry out these tasks efficiently
- Customer Service – Warehouse leads achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, dispatching, and in the quality of goods
- Teamwork – As team leaders, warehouse leads assist their colleagues when necessary and are polite and helpful at all times to ensure a smooth running of the warehouse
- Leadership Skills – Warehouse leads motivate their team, provide guidance, and delegate tasks, which requires strong leadership skills
